My last kinabalu climb sharing.
✍🏼
Our mountain guide “Dawet Malim” is a very good guide, he kept telling us the story about mount Kinabalu, and he is a very caring guide, he will wait for u no matter how slow you are 🤣 , he guided us which way is the faster route and he is super experienced guide! I will definitely look for him again for my next climb! 😆 we returned back in rest house at 9:20am and left about 11am.

Going down was not the easy part, because I forgot to cut my toes nails, it was painful and I suffered walking down the steps, I stopped at half walk and asking the guide a nail clipper, lucky I found one, and I washed and wiped it and cut my painful toes nails 😖, my second toes nail now purple.

Around 3pm, the weather started pouring! My splash proof shoes were totally wet, and the trail became slippery, so we sped up but remained careful.

@weenamarcus and I successfully arrived at the gate at 3:30pm.
🏅
Overall, this was an unforgettable experience. I would say it was harder than I expected, especially given the relatively modest difficulty ratings online. If you are in decent shape, you will definitely be able to do it. If anyone has any questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch. Best of luck!
